Profile
Since 2015, Ima has been one of metro Detroit’s most celebrated restaurants, serving award-winning Japanese-inspired cuisine at three locations across the region. Now, Ima Catering brings that same exceptional quality and care to wedding celebrations throughout metro Detroit.
From intimate bridal showers to grand receptions, Ima Catering transforms events with bold, comforting flavors designed for sharing. Elegant individual bento boxes provide a refined touch for smaller gatherings, while family-style platters — featuring vibrant rice bowls, pan-fried noodles, and handcrafted bao buns — create memorable dining experiences for larger celebrations.
What started as a humble noodle shop in historic Corktown has grown into a Detroit institution. Today, Ima Catering serves events of all sizes — from small corporate lunches to large weddings and celebrations — with extensive vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. The catering team brings a decade of culinary excellence to every detail of each special day.
